World Mixed Martial Arts Awards

The Fighters Only World Mixed Martial Arts Awards was one of the most prestigious events in the sport and business of mixed martial arts. It was a unique spectacle attended and supported by fight organisations, fighters, executives, journalists and celebrity fans. The annual event represented a culmination of the sport as a whole and embodied everything that Fighters Only stood for: the legitimisation and promotion of mixed martial arts and its fighters on a global stage.

By its 12th year, the World Mixed Martial Arts Awards was on the verge of achieving its greatest success through a long term partnership that would have seen the event relocated from its home in Las Vegas to Abu Dhabi, placing it alongside other major international sporting events including Formula 1, UFC, world championship golf, rugby and tennis.

I was responsible for the marketing and event build-up, as well as the website design and administration, voting mechanism, technical security and production of marketing materials to support potential future commercial partnerships.
